In our experience, we used CCIL for a wide range of purposes. According to its author, it covers a specific paradigm of the software system - the pipelined data handling.

- Non interactive
- Back end
- Input data is available and can be retrieved no matter how
Appliancations
- Search Portals. Turned both inwards to the proper data of the entity (#Find) or outwards (V-SSP,WebAware)to the Big Data world of the Internet.
- Scrappers.
- Collectors of various kinds.
- Augmentors.
- Multi-dimensional self-governed systems (as example Trinity, courtesy of Identrics).
- Billing systems, such in the case of Soundex.
